Mosnice is a small hamlet situated on the edge of the Kokorinsko National Park. It lies in the valley of a little river, the Obrtka which has its source some 2 kilometers further up.
The house stands on the south-facing side of the valley; so there is sun in the garden the whole day. The pond opposite the house is in fact a dam and is used for breeding carp. Fishing is not permitted, but you may swim. The water is checked every day and, due to the flow of the river, the risk of botulism or blue algae is exceedingly low.
In the garden you can really enjoy the sun we have plenty of garden furniture.
We have our own tennis court and basketball field in the grounds and of course you can play other games such as badminton: nets, rackets etc. are provided.
As prices are so very attractive you may want to eat in one of the many ‘restaurace’ or ‘hostinec’in the area. A few tips: the hostinec in Velky Hubenov (3km), U Novaku in Duba (7km), U Rychta in Jestrebi (10km), and of course many restaurants in the larger villages and towns in the area such as Ceska Lipa, Litomerice and Melnik.
You can buy the basics within 2km but for all sorts of other shopping you can go to Duba (7km). Ceska Lipa has a large supermarket where you can get everything you would expect to find at home. (Hypernova, open 7 days a week, till 20.00 on weekdays).
Prague is 60km away. By car to Cerny Most and from there by metro to the centre : a convenient way to reach the city within an hour and a half and without any parking problems. (There are information folders and street plans of Prague in the houses).
